STAF59 builds professional machines for artisan gelato production at its base in Rimini, Italy, where it operates as Staff Ice System. It has made refrigeration equipment for more than 60 years, including flake ice machines, and today focuses on four gelato ranges. SmartGel horizontal and MasterGel vertical batch freezers come in electromechanical and digital versions. SmartMix combined machines pair an upper tank for heating the mix with a lower tank for batch freezing, and both can run at the same time. PastoMixer pasteurisers heat, mix, cool and store the base. The machines are designed for gelaterie, pastry shops and artisan labs that want simple controls and consistent results with little effort.
